“Autumn Gold”

© 2012 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

This is the second shot I am uploading from my tests of the new Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 VC USD standard zoom.  This is another wide open shot, into the sun, and gives a good chance to evaluate flare resistance and bokeh quality.  Tell me what you think!  P.S. This size image won’t tell the story, but at 100% the detail on the fine “hairs” of the plant is pretty exquisite.

Technical info: Canon EOS 5D MKII, Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 VC USD, Processed in Adobe Lightrom 4
