Winter’s Splendor #2 – The Tree

© 2013 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

The second of this series captured one beautiful, frosty morning is a of a tree near the edge of the river.  It’s frosted branches combined with the lavender light created color almost like cherry blossoms.  The result was exquisite.  The color is straight out of camera; I have combined a couple of exposures to get the color of the sunrise behind it.

Technical info: Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS, Processed in Adobe Lightroom 4 and Photomatix Pro
