Winter’s Splendor #4 – Ripples

© 2013 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

The series continues with a slight more intimate look at the lovely textures in the snow along the edge of the river.  Mist rises as the sun begins to burn some moisture off the surface of the ice on the river.  The trees are frosted, so it picks up some of the pink hues from the rising sun.  I love the ripples, the countours left in the snow by the wind.  Beautiful!

Technical info: Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L, Processed in Adobe Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS5, Textures courtesy of Kim Klassen
