“Forsaken”

Year after year it becomes more weathered. Someday, maybe soon, the right weather conditions will cause its collapse. Man has forsaken it, left it for dead. Yet when the heavens put on their display, there I was, gaping at the beauty in the sky that was only augmented by the faded beauty on the ground. When heaven shines down on you…you are never forsaken.
