“The Big Freeze”

© 2013 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

I thought I would take a break from my travels and share a few images from home over hte next couple of days. An early cold snap has gripped my “neck of the woods” this December, and I went out in -9F/-25C on this morning (without wind chill). Once the sun started to rise, though, I (mostly) forgot about the cold. Some great ice provided a perfect frame for this shot, and so now you can enjoy the frosty scene from the warm place you are sitting.
