“The Church of the Loaves and the Fishes”

Many of the spots associated with the Gospels have been snatched up by various sects of Christianity in Israel. This particular sight is attributed to the spot where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes and fed the great multitude. I cannot verify or deny the location, but I can say that it is a beautiful spot along the coast of the Sea of Galilee. The fine old church there lended itself to a more painterly approach.
