“Tiberius by Night”

© 2013 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

The city of Tiberius enjoys an ancient history and one fantastic location. It sits along the Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret) and was established in 20 BC. It was named in honor of the Roman Emperor, Tiberius. Despite originally being a city that the religious Jews shunned, it is now considered one of the four holy cities of Judaism because of the work of religious scholars there after being driven out fro Jerusalem by the Romans. I will share both a night and a morning view of this beautiful city. This is the view by night from Nof Ginosar.
