“Winterflare”

© 2013 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

Evening comes early in winter, but the tradeoff is the hours of low, directional light in the early afternoon. It is one of my favorite times to trek into the woods and capture the light through the trees. Crisp, clear, frosty light. So very winter; so very beautiful.
