“Signs of Spring…Finally!”
© 2014 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott
It seems like winter’s grip is finally (and slowly) beginning to loose. Some of you have been posting some beautiful new spring blossoms. We still have a long way to go before I get to shoot that, but what we do have is a very slight uncovering of what has been lying dormant. There is still a lot of snow everywhere, but here and there the snow is starting to recede. In this case it uncovered the remains of one of my sedum plants. The dried husks from the blossoms still remain, and so I got in close to shoot it in an abstract fashion. I wanted a fresh shot from my Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM lens as I have finally finished the review for the lens. You can read about it here if you would like.
