“Sunshower”

© 2014 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

We got an interesting combination a few evenings ago of both very warm golden hour light along with a passing shower. I deliberately placed the sun to produce some flare along with capturing a few of the raindrops as they fell. The resulting image has a warm, dreamy quality that really appeals to me. I hope this image conveys some of the unique magic of the sunshower.
