“Golden Hour in Quebec”

© 2014 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

Here’s another image from our recent trip to Quebec City. This shot is taken from the famous Plains of Abraham battlefield site, and provides a great view of the beautiful situation of this part of Quebec City. The St. Lawrence River flows further east (and slightly north) towards the equally enchanting Gaspe region. The old fortress of Quebec rises above on the escarpment, although the focal point for the last 120 years has been the gorgeous Chateau Frontenac. If you want more information (and a LOT more pictures), I have written a travelogue/gear piece that can be found here Enjoy!
