“When the Sky Rolled Back”

© 2014 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

“Revelation 6:14 NKJV Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.” It wasn’t quite the apocalyptic vision of John, but I’ve never seen the sky “roll” like it did this particular morning…nor have I seen it since. Psalm 19:1 speaks of the “heavens revealing the glory of God…” On a morning like this one, I can’t help but agree. Wet sand is my absolute favorite reflective surface that I have discovered…and here’s a reminder of why!
