“Gone Away…”

OK, the bluebirds are clearly not gone yet, but as you can see, our trees are pretty much bared now. I had a copy of the big Tamron in hand again and shot this poor unsuspecting soul with a 600mm round. The Tamron is amazingly cheap for the reach it has and the quality of the optics – this is worse case scenario – wide open at 600mm. Not too shabby! I saw several bluebirds yesterday while on an extended hike, chattering and fighting. I don’t particularly enjoy trying to stalk wildlife or birds, so this isn’t my favorite kind of photography.
