Metro Arrival

© 2013 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

We spent some time last week travelling on Washington, D.C.’s excellent Metro system.  I didn’t have a tripod, so I shot this long exposure of the arriving train into the Federal Triangle station handheld (thanks for great VC, Tamron!)  I got just what I looking for, with the nameplate of the station staying clear despite the train cars moving by.

Technical info: Canon EOS 6D, Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 VC USD, Hoya Circular Polarizer, Processed in Adobe Lightroom 4 and Alien Skin Exposure, Handheld
