I had been shooting nightscapes over the river when I saw a unique opportunity while heading back to the car. The moon was illuminating the road, while the four way flashers on my car were illuminating some of the trees along the lane. I put my tripod down just a foot above street level, gave it a slight tilt, and got an image that might just be my favorite of the night. It’s amazing how bright an image can be produced by ambient light even in the dark! The bright star of light is the moon.
