Smoky Dawn

A fire in our area created a unique set of atmospheric circumstances early yesterday morning. The smoke seems to have settled down along the Quebec side of the Ottawa River while the water was very still. This Canada Goose was very distant, but the 600mm of the Tamron helped to pull it in closer as well as compress the scene nicely. This one is pretty relaxed, but it had an artistic quality that I liked. P.S. Fun fact – my review of the Tamron 150-600 VC remains my most popular of all time with some 130,000 views on my website alone!
