“On Becoming a Farmer”

© 2015 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

Bokeh and blossoms are always a winning combination. The lovely blossoms on several flowering crab apple trees on our property are just amazing, though their blooming season is unfortunately brief. I’m a little more excited about the blossoms on my apple trees, because all of those blossoms represent little apples that are starting to grow (and are really cute!). I planted blueberry bushes yesterday. My wife’s remark, “I never knew I was marrying a farmer.” What can I say? I like to eat fruit, and I like to take pictures of the plants that grow it!
