Fire Above, Fire Below

I’ve rarely seen conditions exactly like the one that I took this photo in. There was a low hanging band of fog that the sun was shrouded in, but fiery illumination went both above and below the layer of fog. Added to this there was a layer of mist rising off the water that flowed around the island but was filled with light from above. The whole scene was incredibly beautiful, and this photo is basically out of camera save a slight adjustment to the horizon.
