“Winter’s Twilight”

© 2016 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

I took this shot a few evenings ago in the cold transition from day’s last light to the fall of night. I’ve always loved this particular tree that grows up right out of a rock face. I got a beautiful image of it, but wanted a little something more, so I composited in a shot of the Milky Way taken on another night. The end result is still “believable” but more importantly fills my artistic vision for this shot.

Very nice! The Tamron 15-30 has to be the best wide angle zoom. I love mine!

  2. Dustin Abbott says:

    I agree, Nicolaas. Great lens!
