Here I am with several of the most impressive lenses that I’ve seen in a while but stuck in the “ugly season” where spring hasn’t taken hold enough to produce its beauty and everything is still, well, brown. So, you’ve got to push your creativity and get out to find something that defies the odds. These dry beech leaves lasted through the long winter and have persisted to catch the light once again. The Tamron SP 85mm f/1.8 VC is also a grand light catcher, with a nice combination of beautiful drawing and bokeh along with exceptional sharpness. Here’s a gallery of other images:
