Things Just Got Real

© 2016 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

Canon has lacked an exceptional zoom for shooting astrophotography…until now. I wasn’t blown away by the 16-35 f/4L IS for astro, but this new, expensive 16-35L III looks like an awesome option for shooting the night sky. I’ve processed to enhance the look of the image, but you can’t fake the low coma that this lens produces. The Milky Way looks pretty fab through this lens.
