Rokinon (Samyang) SP 14mm f/2.4 Image Gallery

March 22nd, 2017

I’ve been looking forward to spending some time with the new Rokinon (Samyang) SP 14mm f/2.4 lens.  I owned the less expensive Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 lens, and found it a pretty amazing optical instrument for the price.  It did have a number of quirks, however, along with some optical issues like strong distortion and heavy vignette.  This new premium version offers up a vastly improved build quality along with a full array of electronics (electromagnetic aperture control, too).  It is incredibly, incredibly sharp, and I look forward to giving you a full review of its performance.  In the meantime, enjoy the image galleries here.  The main image gallery will be added to on an ongoing basis during my review period, so check back often!
