The Carl Zeiss company recently announced another high end prime lens in the Milvus series – the Zeiss Milvus Distagon T* 35mm f/1.4. The Milvus 35mm f/1.4 is a completely new optical formula and covers one of the the most important focal lengths in any photographer’s bag. The Milvus 35 is big, heavy, expensive…and beautiful inside and out. It’s a typical Zeiss!

I’ll be putting it head to head against the awesome Canon EOS 35mm f/1.4L II over the next few weeks along with just shooting the Zeiss and delivering my real world observations that you follow me for.
