Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving 2017
© 2017 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott
My favorite holiday of the year! I love the positive aspects of Thanksgiving. It’s less commercial and more about family, food, fellowship, and about all – thankfulness – something we North Americans need a lot more of! Canadian Thanksgiving (second weekend in October) seems to always coincide with peak colors in the fall foliage. I went for a walk with my wife and children on Saturday, and on that walk I took this photo of a sumac plant where the rich red colors were entering the tips while further back were other shades. I liked the bokeh and colors here, so thought I would share one more thing that I’m thankful for!
