“Winter’s Slow Retreat”

I suspect that many of you are fully launching into spring, but around here winter fights tooth and nail to hang on. The temperatures are slowing rising, but the deep freeze on the lakes and the deep snow from the winter is slow to dissapate. Fortunately even in this awkward “in between” season there are so great photo opportunities. In this shot I’ve used a wide angle perpective from the Laowa 15mm f/2 lens and used the contrast between the now exposed dry grasses along the shore of the frozen lake to contrast the ghostly white, mist-covered frozen lake surface.
