The Viltrox 85mm F1.8 is a new manual focus lens designed for Sony FE.  There is an autofocus version that will come later (for an additional $80), but this lens may prove to be the better option for video due to having a gorgeous manual focus ring.  This is the second Viltrox lens that I’ve reviewed, and I think it will be a nice option for those who want a budget (full frame) portrait lens or those who do video and value an 85mm focal length.  Stay tuned for my ongoing coverage of this exciting new lens, and check back often as I post new photos to the galleries below.
