Decadent Decay

A nicely balanced summer with plenty of rain and sunshine alike has produced a very lush world in my little corner of it. I’ve been so busy that I’ve had very few opportunities to try out my Father’s Day present – the filter holder and a filter for my UWA lens. It’s a pretty huge affair, but the ability to use the graduated ND filter to balance the sky and foreground is great. This is a single image that I kept slightly underexposed to emphasize the cool sky. The rich lushness of this deserted location always appeals to me. Enjoy!
