And I've just recently got a chance to play around with these for a while and use them

And I just wanted to share a few quick conclusions. If you're looking for a good pair of studio monitor headphones

either for capturing audio in the field or monitoring your video while you're doing some kind of recording

these are a great option at a wonderful price. Also, just a great set of headphones

If you just want to listen to music and you want just a better sounding set of headphones

these offer up a whole lot of bang for the buck. These headphones, there's a lot of smart details that go into

it. One of the things that I like is that it has replaceable and also switchable cords. And so it includes a couple of chords with it. And one of those is just a standard three foot length. And I wouldn't mind if it was an extra foot longer. But this is designed for the times when either you don't want anything too bulky or if you're looking to avoid having a length for snagging. But either way, it's designed where they are switchable. And so

They plug in nice and securely. And then on both of the cables that are included on the opposite end, it's actually threaded

has a one eighth adapter or excuse the one eighth plug end but it threaded and so you can add on the included one gold jack and once it threaded on it nice and secure

so you don't have to worry about losing that. It also comes with a second cable, and that is a stretchable and coiled

It can go anyway from four feet all the way out to 10 feet, and so to give you a lot of length

And so a secondary cable for different kinds of situations when you're in perhaps in a studio

monitoring and you need a little more leeway to work with, it provides a great option for that

And the nice thing about this is that should you ever have an issue with one of your cables

and in my experience, that has been a weak link with other headphones in the past. These are nice

and robustly made, but should there be a short, begin one of these, you can actually just

replace the cable instead of replacing the whole set of headphones. And so that's certainly a nice

feature. Another nice thing about these particular headphones is that they have a very nicely padded

ear cover area and it's a 40 millimeter drive behind that. But also even these ear covers are

replaceable and you can order a pair of them for only 14 bucks if you ever want to

replace that if they're starting to get worn or dirty or you just want a fresh pair

Another nice thing is that these are adjustable in a variety of ways and they include

include a little positioning. So you can remember, it's numbered between one and nine

and so it can help you to remember what is the right size for your particular head

I've got a smaller head, and so anyway, I'm able to set it at the place that's comfortable for me

and they fit very nicely also very nice padding on the actual headband and I find them to be very comfortable to wear Despite being fairly heavy headphones here they designed in such a way where they can collapse nice and easily into a compact package

and so they can be stored even more easily. And so a lot of nice features there and that

Now, when you actually get into the sound quality of these particular headphones, I find them to be a really great sounding pair of headphones

The sound that comes out of them is nicely balanced. And you've probably all heard headphones before that are designed to where they overemphasize bass response, for example

And so they sound really boomy or those that to the high end is a little bit shrill

But the sound response out of these over the entire audio frequency is really nicely balanced

And I really like the sound. It's not muddy in any way, but everything comes through with a lot of clarity

And I find when listening to a variety of different types of music, that the response allows just the detail to come out

And, of course, that's purposeful in the design of these because they are designed

And so if you're out monitoring audio in the field, and you need to hear slight visual cues that you need that clarity to come through

Another thing that they do very effectively, these are not active, sound isolating headphones, they are passive only, but I find that the design is very isolating

and that when they're in place you can hear very, very little external noise and your

environmental audio is filtered out very nicely And so as a result they do a great job when you outfield monitoring They also have a very very competitive price And Senal is not a household name like some other

brands, but I think that you will find that that perhaps might be an asset when it comes to

the purchase price of these, because they clock in considerably lower than alternatives

that offer the same amount of quality. And they are a professional quality. I really like

the build, the construction of them, and the sound quality is excellent. As far as any of

negatives about them, I would say, as I've pointed out, I think that the first chord, just kind of

your basic chord, could be just a hair longer. It's not, I haven't had any particular problem

with it, but I think if it was three foot long, if it was three and a half to four feet, I think

that would be a little bit more perfect for me. Some have noted that they're not as feature-rich

as some other headphones. And then some have said that they find the fit a little bit tight

That's certainly not an issue for me. I find them very comfortable, but that is something that others have raised

and so it's something you might want to consider. So if you're looking for a great sounding pair of headphones
