Hi, I'm Dustin Abbott, and unlike most of the times that you'll find me here, I'm not actually here to do a lens review today
0:18
I do want to give you an update, however, on some upcoming reviews and giveaways and just kind of give you a look at the roadmap ahead, as well as to give you some instructions on how to jump in and particularly
0:29
in the current giveaway right now. Now I'm doing a giveaway today from a company called Easy Cover
0:37
Some of you that have been following my reviews for a while know that I covered some products from a little startup company from the Netherlands
0:44
called Easy Cover about a year and a half or two years ago. And in that review I detailed all the various items that they have that are inexpensive but provide some great protection value
0:55
including some covers for your camera bodies, like you, camera bodies like this cool camo look here for the Canon 70D and available for all kinds of
1:06
different popular camera models. I've got a red one here for my 60 and even one here and you may
1:13
not be able to see it as well, but one that very closely fits for the Canon ESM3 mirrorless body
1:19
that I have that still allows you to access everything but as you can see fits very, very
1:24
closely and offers some shock and protection value as well as some moisture resistance
1:28
value to it. It's also handy I've found when you're out in extreme cold. Those
1:33
metal camera bodies can be really hard on the hands. They also make a variety of
1:37
actual lens protectors and so if you want to find out more information about
1:42
that, I'll throw some linkage down below to their website and their Facebook
1:46
page so you can take a look I covered those kind of products before I also noted that they make a variety of other gear for lenses including some neoprene lens cases And so if you want something that can kind of clip onto a belt or even just to put into your
2:02
camera bag that has some protection value, this is one that fits very, very nicely for the
2:07
new Tamron 45mm VC or the 85 millimeter VC lenses. And then you can draw string and tighten them down and just make sure that they
2:17
have that little extra measure of protection for traveling or going out in the woods
2:22
Also, if you've watched my reviews for a while, you know that I frequently lament the lack of
2:26
protection that is provided by a variety of lens manufacturers not named Sigma. Sigma is the only
2:33
one that includes a decent case with their lenses, but can it even with the L-series lenses, unless
2:39
you're up into the supertele photos, it provides a little drawstring sock that is virtually useless
2:45
So I've been happy to find that they've been able to find that they've been. make a nice zippered, padded, real case, Easy Cover does that perfectly fits one of my favorite
2:53
new lenses that I got last year. That's the Tamron 50 to 30 millimeter F2.8 VC lens. It's a great
3:00
lens, but of course, it's a good size lens and so it's a little bit bigger than a lot of the
3:04
bags that I've used, but Easy Cover makes one that fits that perfectly. I'll throw a link to this
3:10
exact case down below and so you can look at what I'm talking about if you happen to own
3:14
the Tamron 15 to 30. But there is a variety of other sizes of lens cases that they make that are
3:20
zippered and padded and provide much more protection value than what comes or what doesn't come at
3:26
all with your new lens. And so for a very small, really overall investment, you can add a lot of
3:32
protection value for either storage or if you're traveling with those products. They also come in a
3:37
variety of finishes Here one of those neoprene cases that in a camo look and different sizes of those And so overall they mostly about adding protection value to your gear And camera gear is very expensive
3:52
And so, anyway, I'm very happy to have some new products from this company to take a look at
3:57
and to recommend to you. And even better news is I'm going to be given away some of these
4:02
And I've got in the current giveaway, and there, if you'll look down in the linkage below
4:07
there's information about the current giveaway and how. to enter but I've got a couple of packages and including one that will include one of these lens
4:16
protectors along with one of these neoprene lens cases and and then also an extra lens protector
4:24
kind of a sleeve to go over it and then the other kit comes with a setup of these along with that
4:29
camo lens case and and so if you'll enter the contest down below you can win those things and have
4:35
them shipped to you free for yourself but I also want to give you a head
4:40
up on some other giveaways that are coming up very shortly. I've been in the process of reviewing
4:45
this very cool set of Bluetooth headphones that I'm really enjoying. They're from a relatively unknown
4:52
company by the name of August. You may have seen I did a review of their Bluetooth speakers before
4:58
and they have stereo Bluetooth speakers that were very cool. And then I've been reviewing these
5:03
headphones and they are very cool. I really like them and as soon as I pulled them out
5:08
all of my family wanted a pair. Well, I don't have a pair to give all of them, but the good news is
5:14
that I do have a pair to give to one of you. And very shortly, I'll be finishing up my review of
5:21
these, and when that review goes live, I'll also have linkage to a new competition to win
5:26
yourself a set of these headphones. Now, while there's still snow on the ground here, spring is
5:32
rapidly approaching and so next month I going to be doing something a little bit different And I got a few different reviews of some lighting accessories for those of you that are cyclists and and so both
5:43
tail lights as well as headlights some turn signal lights from a couple of different companies that I'll be
5:49
reviewing and putting through their paces and also in a good news I have got a both a tail light and a
5:57
headlight these are USB rechargeables and so I'll be giving away this pair from the
6:02
company Knight ProVision in another month and a half or so. So some good things to look forward to there as far as the giveaways
6:11
And just to give you a quick lineup of what's coming as far as reviews, I am just about finished with first will come the Canon 50mm F1.0
6:20
Following after that is the new Sigma 20mm F1.4 from their art series
6:26
I also have a little Voitlander 20mm F3.5 pancake lens. that I have been reviewing and my review will be coming from that
6:35
I'm also going to be looking at and sharing my findings from the Canon 80D very shortly
6:41
along with the new Tamron 85mm F1.8VC, and then also the Zeiss-Milvis 50mm F1.4
6:51
That's a lot of reviews. So stay tuned and got a lot of stuff to give away, a lot of great reviews to do
6:59
And so if you haven't already, you need to subscribe and pay close attention
7:02
because there's a lot of great things coming your way. You can sign up for my newsletter down below
7:07
and so you don't miss any of my video or my text reviews and more information will be there
7:13
Thanks for watching. Have a great day. Good luck on winning
