Spring is the most abbreviated season in my part of Canada. Winter persists on often until April, and it seems that summer arrives by June, so spring gets compacted into a little part of April and May. I'll let you guess which season is still dominating from this image here that I took on Sunday. I loved this scene, though, with the beautiful island out in the middle of frozen river that now looks like a forest growing out of a sea of white. Hey, nobody moves to Canada for the weather...but it does look good!
