It's unusual for me to have to ramp up the autumn look this time of year, but things have stayed warm around here and the trees are only beginning to turn. Still, we've started to get some of the cool mornings that can sometimes produce fog and mist because the water and ground are here is still very warm. I got some great moody photos along the river yesterday (and watched a fox creeping by!), but I've posted a number of river photos recently. I'm almost finished with my EOS M3 review, and the newest lens for M kit is the 55-200mm telephoto. Here's one taken with it. I went into the woods to a favorite spot and shot towards the place where the sun was starting to burn through the fog and fill it with light. I've given a little more fall color to this photo in post, but the atmosphere is straight out of camera.
