If you don't really care to read the review, let me sum it up in a few words: Canon's new 100-400L is awesome. It is extremely flexible, easy to use, and has awesome IQ. It's not just good for wildlife (not much of that moving around in Canada right now!), but it is a multipurpose tool that does a lot of things well. It lets you get in nice and close and shoot shots like this, too! My review of the new Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM II is now live:
