The temperature was hovering at around 10F/-16C when I shot this image. It looks warm (and the light was), but the out of focus blur in the foreground is fresh snow. I shot this in late afternoon, so the sun was low and directional. The light removed all distractions from the background and made for a simple yet pure image of these beech leaves. I love warm looking images in the middle of winter!
