Long time ago, I decided that I wasn't crazy about the neck straps that come with my cameras

I own about five or six camera bodies, and right now, I'm I don't have the neck strap from the manufacturer on any of them

I don't like the weight that the weight is carried. I also don't like the way that it's not very easy to remove them when you want to do something else

So as a result, a lot of the time I either shoot just holding the camera body itself

Sometimes I'm using a harness system, and so either it will be mounted on my chest or at my hip
