This handheld image was taken near the Bonnechere Caves in Eganville, Ontario. The region is marked by limestone “steps” that to me are actually far more compelling than the caves themselves. The water thunders through the region like a miniature Niagara…but without all the tourists. I focused in on one of the series of steps that the water traverses. The image shows the awesome textures of the flat areas. It really is an amazing destination, and I find this image personally very compelling.
