“Do I Boar You?”

© 2014 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott

There are many, many wild boar at Parc Omega in Quebec. I had to laugh at the sound of them snorting and grunting like a bunch of…well…pigs. It’s like when one of those stereotypes get validated. Boar are interesting creatures, and the large males that once roamed many forests were actually quite fierce. Their fur is very bristly, so I zoomed in pretty close the face/snout to give you a closer look at those great textures. If you haven’t yet read my review of the new Tamron Ultra-Telephoto, it is here P.S. If you are in Canada, I have a code for 5% off everything at the Amplis Store (where I get my gear). It is AMPLIS52014.
