of tests to determine that and bring you

back my conclusion. All right, for one

of our tests here, we're going to try a

couple of shirts that I actually might

travel with. These are ones that are

supposed to be low wrinkling, and I know

from packing them along, they do fairly

well for that. We're going to see what

happens if I compress them down into the

case, leave them there for a day or two,

and then pull them back out. We'll see

if they look anything like this.

Okay, moment of truth. Let's see how

well these have packed. First of all,

taking a look in here, we can see that

there is still some vacuum seal, but I

can tell that there is a little bit more

air in there. This is after 24 hours.

And so they will say that that slow

in the process. Now, you have to use a

exaggerated, but I'm going to take a

look at how well the actual vacuum seal

works. And so, I've got a total of five

pair of pants that I'm going to try to

seven t-shirts. So, let's see how well

all of this fits into the bag. All

right. So, first of all, I wanted to see

how well all of this clothes would fit

vacine. So, I'm just setting it in that

uh for this. It's obviously the wrong

shape for what I'm trying to accomplish

here. All right. No matter how I try to

play with this, it's not necessarily

said, in a pinch, you know, if I

absolutely had to get by with it, could

going to make sense. Let's see how it

holds up to real packing.

Okay. Well, I have everything in there

packed and ready to go. Couple of tips

of things that I figured out that would

work better for me just in the way that

I pack. I layered in in the vacuum seal

compartment. I put a few items in there.

I put things that I didn't worry about

wrinkling. uh socks, undershirts, uh

workout shirt, um underwear. I also

camera because I picked up a tip from

another reviewer that once you do that

And that's a space where there is

final priority for me is I need to be

have a hot tea in this in the morning

and then often in airports, I'll fill it

up with water, and I just want to be

able to take this with me if I'm

checking in a bag. Now, the side pocket

here initially would seem like that's a

no-go. However, it is designed where

there is this zipper that allows

elasticity to it. And not only even with

it full like this will it go uh all the

way in there, but it will do so very

very securely. You're going to see right

walk for about a mile, kilometer and a

the airport and so I can give you some

feedback on how the actual strap quality

is in terms of comfort. Now, there is a

waist strap that is optional. I'm going

to do half of the trip with the waist

strap mounted. And the actual mounting

process is easier to do with the

backpack off obviously, but I did want

to demonstrate it with it on because it

is pretty straightforward. Just a matter

of um clicking these uh straps to

release. There is a just a point here

where it mounts on and then you can snap

portion. I found that for myself it fit

best out of the three positions that the

So far, no problem as far as weight

distribution. Now, in full disclosure, I

am a regular rucker and I carry a

mostly determining whether or not these

So, just relying on the uh upper

conclusion on the Black Voyage Zephyr

Pro travel backpack? Well, some of the

things that I think really stand out to

me that I like is that I did find that

the things that is noted by those that,

you know, review more uh backpacks and

uh luggage than what I do is that the

vacuum seal here is robust. It lasts for

longer than what a lot of the

competitors do. And I found that

particularly if I packed it well, I

would come back 24 hours later and I

felt like there was very little

expansion there. And so in the case of

where I just did that hike, I was in at

still holding in place very nicely. The

great. It has that has a kind of a

almost a liquid feel to it, which is

very soft, pleasing, but also nicely

going to make much more sense for you to

not use cubes and or if they're cubes to

make sure that they're more flat because

what's going to happen is everything you

pack into this. It's going to raise the

floor of your main packing chamber. And

in the other spaces, for example, back

here where I can put tech things like

laptops and other things like that,

there's not really going to be room in

this. It's not going to fit very well in

there at all, particularly if I'm trying

to put anything in this space. And so,

that was going to work. Even something

like my tech pouch is probably a little

too thick for that. And again, it's

going to create issues here. And so,

really, those things need to go in the

main compartment. and that gets a little

bit complicated because of the race

floor with the vacuum ceiling. So, I

think that the vacuum sealing does work,

but for me, it's going to just require a

little bit of rethinking about the way

that I typically pack and maybe the

accessories that I would choose to put

on a regular basis. Now, when compared

to equivalent Peak Design product, the
