But in this particular episode, we're going to be looking at the photos that, you know

kind of caught my attention and stood out to me that I took during the month of July

I enjoy this series both as an opportunity to be a little bit less gear focused, a little bit more photography focused

but also as a chance to kind of share with you around the world what my part of the world looks like in eastern Ontario, Canada

The month of July is the most consistently hot month of the year

And so because Canada has a relatively short summer and of course a very long winter

there's a lot of stuff that we try to pack into the month of July. And so I do continue to take photos, of course, in everything that I do

but I will tell you that in the month of July, I tend to take photos as a part of doing things

and less of, you know, just going out intentionally just for photography's sake

Now in the month of July I did a number of Fuji reviews including the Fuji X new camera but also the venerable 50 f2 professional zoom lens along with a Viltrox 33mm f1 so kind of a standard

lens for Fuji's platform. And so I did a review of that as well

So you'll see photos from all of that. In addition to that, I actually reviewed another Viltrox lens in the month, an 85mm f1.8 Mark II

Really, really nice lens for the money that produces some beautiful images

And some of my favorites that I took in the month actually were taken with that particular lens

And so you're going to see a variety of these photos, see some summer beauty, some portrait shots, various things that are a part of that

it really is, it's very beautiful here We really enjoy our summers

and I am a July baby to begin with and so I've always been summer oriented
