“Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, NYC”

Hello, everyone. I know I’ve been a little inconsistent with getting Photo du Jour shots up recently, but all I can beg is understanding due to the extreme business of life recently. I’ll be sharing a full article with tons on NYC photos shortly.
Here’s another fascinating location in NYC. Right across from Rockefeller Center is a massive, Gothic style church. It seems so otherworldly to find such a place amongst the modern towers rising around it. Even more ironic is that its facade faces the statue of Atlas holding up the globe right across the street. The spires rise to some 330 feet from the ground. The front of the church looks particularly good right now after an expensive and extensive restoration completed earlier this year. I got a number of cool photos of it, and thought I would share this one.
