“A Hot Cuppa”
© 2016 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott
How about a hot cuppa? I’m a tea drinker, and this evening when were celebrating my wife’s birthday we had made a pot of cinnamon chai rooibos for an after dinner treat. I had poured a cup into my favorite glass mug, when I saw the evening light hitting the floor in the living room. I knew there was a photo there, and I was particularly delighted with how it turned out. I’ve done a couple minor bits of housekeeping on the image, but is largely the way it came out of camera. No flash – just available light. This image was featured in Flickr’s Explore at position #31. I’ve posted a new quick review video of this excellent lens that you can see here:

Loved your after thoughts on that delicious brew you made. I am sure it complimented your wife’s birthday treat! I reside in a sunny country but I still partake in the odd cup of infusion that you mentioned. Puts me in the right frame ( pardon the pun…) of mind to go out a capture (!) the moment!
Regards to you on this fine blog of yours. Simply delicious!
Thanks, Rich.
