“Glorious Imperfections”
© 2013 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott
Those of you that know me know that I love great gear. I like my lenses sharp and contrasty…except for the ones that I love that aren’t that at all! My vintage lenses work so well in certain situations in part because of their imperfections. A little dreamy, weird corners, swirly bokeh. In certain situations you don’t want any of these things. And then sometimes, those glorious imperfections turn something ordinary into a work of art.
