“As the Sun Rises”

I wanted to give you a look at a real world landscape shot taken wide open at f/2.8. I think you can agree that this lens is very useful at wide open aperture. This was taken at nearly 40 below (there was literally frost buildup on my tripod when I got home), yet the Tamron 15-30 VC functioned perfectly. Take a look at the image resolution of this amazing lens. http://bit.ly/1Aac03H This lens has done a great job in all the scenarios I have thrown at it thus far and is my new pick for a wide angle zoom…period.
