“Summer Storms”

I’m delighted to finally have my own copy of the amazing Tamron SP 15-30 VC, and I took my son out storm chasing last night. He one-upped me by getting a great lightning shot, but I got a number of shots that I’m really pleased with, including this one. The looming clouds of the passing storm combined with a burst of the sun breaking through on the left, illuminating the island. The clouds also perfectly framed the island, giving me a “peekaboo” look that I really like. Have a great week!
