The 50mm king!  I want to give a big shout out to Craig (owner) over at Canon Rumors for loaning me his rare and expensive copy of the legendary Canon EF 50mm f/1.0L lens.  This massive 50mm lenses is a study in extremes, and that massive aperture results in some very unique images.  I look forward to playing with it and reviewing it over the next couple of months.  In the meantime, here is a gallery of sample images that I have taken during the time of the review.  Most of these will be at [very] wide apertures, but I will also shoot some landscape shots at more normal apertures as well.  There is also a gallery of images OF this rare and unique lens.
