And the Sky Turned Purple…

You’ve got to love those evenings when you get the rare combination of great color combined with great patterns in the clouds. I shot this one in very low light (the sun was already set) but was able to capture the lingering color in the sky. I love composing with wide angle lenses and finding something interesting to anchor the image in the foreground. I’ve been waiting to share this one for a while, and another grey February day told me that this image was far more interesting than anything else I was likely to shoot today!
