“Welcome to Summer”
© 2017 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott
The colors of summer are starting to pop! This shot was taken in a ditch along a road. The moist conditions there are allowing for all kinds of different wildflowers to grow there. I shot with a number of different lenses, but this shot, which I really like, is from my vintage SMC Takumar 50mm f/1.4 at f/2. At f/2 it is very sharp but still has very nice, creamy bokeh. The range of complimentary colors was pretty fab! Welcome to summer!
