Rokinon 50mm f/1.2 AS UMC Lens Image Gallery

I’m delighted to have the pair of Rokinon’s new fast aperture prime lenses in hand for review.  I own the Rokinon 12mm f/2 prime and have been delighted with it, and am happy to see that the Rokinon 50mm f/1.2 and 21mm f/1.4 lenses are both equally beautiful and well built.  All of the early samples are wide open (at f/1.2) and I can tell already that I’m going to be impressed.  I will be adding photos from a variety of settings, though, over the course of the review period. I will be reviewing the Rokinon 50mm f/1.2 in an EF-M mount on the Canon EOS M3, but it is available for a wide variety of mounts including Fuji X, Sony E, and Micro 4/3rds.  Very good sharpness even at f/1.2, low vignette, low CA (see book cover example) and nice, soft bokeh.  Yummy!  My review will come in 3-4 weeks, but watch for many more samples along the way.  As you can see from the gallery of images of the Rokinon 50mm f/1.2, it is a truly beautiful little lens.
