It seems like new lens makers are popping up all over the place now, and these galleries are dedicated to what is, to me, a brand new company. I hadn’t heard of Zonlai before their distributor contacted me about potentially doing a review, but in many ways I’ve been quite impressed with this inexpensive, compact optic. I’m reviewing the Zonlai 22mm f/1.8 on Sony APS-C (Sony a6500), though it is available for a few other systems as well. It’s nicely built and has a lot of optical strengths, but it is manual focus only. Still, at around $150, this lens packs a lot of punch for it’s price point…as I think you’ll see from the images in the gallery below. Stay tuned for my upcoming review!
