The Bluetti Elite 100 Mini blends deep storage capacity (1004.8Wh) with a reasonable inverter (700W) in a unique, upright footprint that is 15% smaller and 7% lighter than Elite 100 V2. The Elite 100 V2 shares the storage capacity but has a more powerful inverter, but at a roughly 40% more expensive price premium over the bargain Elite 100 Mini, which can be had for just $429 USD. App Control

Bluetti units like the Elite 100 Mini can be deeply controlled via the well executed Bluetti app. Connections can be made via Bluetooth or WiFi, giving you the opportunity to remotely monitor the unit and also to change settings.

Things I Don’t Like

Not nearly as capable as the Elite 100 V2
- 700W vs 1800W inverter
- Much lower solar input (350 vs 1000w)
- Slower AC charging (700w vs 1200W
Not a lot lighter than the more capable Elite 100 V2 (<1 kilo lighter )

Conclusion

I really like the form factor and deep storage capability of the Elite 100 Mini, though I did feel somewhat limited by the 700W inverter. I would not view the Elite 100 Mini as true power outage backup, but it is a great unit for those that travel or camp with a CPAP, cooler, or just want a source of power for recharging phones, tablets, laptops, or other electronics, where it is capable of many recharge cycles. It would also make a great UPS unit for a computer or similar sensitive electronic device. If you want more of a backup unit for power outages, however, I would spend the extra money for the Elite 100 V2 instead.
