Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Image Gallery

In 2016 Sigma launched a new series of lenses for mirrorless bodies (Sony E-mount and M43) – the DC DN Contemporary lenses. They started with the extremely useful (and very good) Sigma 30mm f/1.4, a nice standard prime lens with a full frame equivalent focal length of 45mm on Sony E-mount (tested here). Here in late 2017 they announced a second lens in the series, the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens. The Sigma 16mm sports a great wide angle focal length (24mm equivalent on Sony) and an impressively bright maximum aperture of f/1.4. I look forward to testing it as an option for shooting both video and stills. Follow here and on my YouTube channel for ongoing coverage of the lens. In the meantime, check back often to see new images taken with this exciting new lens. I’ll be testing it on a Sony a6500 body!
